The Broadband part of BroadCall

You will be connected to ultra-fast broadband connection (up to 24 meg) subject to your line condition and the distance from your local telephone exchange, with a massive monthly download allowance of 40 GB - that's more than enough for shopping, banking, browsing, multi-player gaming and even watching a few films each week.

How Much does it cost? There are two different prices for BroadCall depending on whether new equipment has been installed in your local BT exchange, a process known as Local Loop Unbundling or LLU Currently around 80% of UK households can benefit from new technology and the number is growing all the time

How do I know if I can benefit from "LLU"? SCL Utilities will be able to confirm whether "LLU" equipment has been installed in your local BT exchange.

If your local exchange has not yet been 'unbundled' and you connect to our BroadCall service, we will check your local exchange every six months to see if "LLU" has become available at that time, we will automatically reduce your monthly charges (as long as we have successfully transferred your line) to our lower "LLU" BroadCall prices

The call part of Broad Call

We take over complete responsibility for supplying your home phone so you will not receive any further bills from BT. But in the unlikely event something goes wrong, your line will still be repaired by exactly the same engineers in exactly the same way as if you were still paying BT's higher prices. You keep your current home phone number and use your existing telephone(s) for making calls, whilst benefiting from savings of up to 97% on the calls you make most often - that's daytime and evening calls to local and national destinations.
